We are family-owned and operated. Let the children’s dream and imagination transform into reality.
As children are unique and natural learners, we aim to introduce and use a range of meaningful approaches, effective learning programs, curriculum, activities, and routines to truly meet the needs of every child.
We aspire to provide high quality education and care to the children which will allow them to gain an edge in life discovering and cultivating their own individual strengths, interests, talents, skills and abilities. Through this journey, we will support and motivate our children to understand what sets them apart from others and be the best version of themselves.
Play is children’s natural language; it’s the way they explore and make meaning of the world around them. Wherever it happens, it is anchored in inquiry, discovery and deep concentration, all of which are a necessary part of children’s lives. Playful inquiry supports intellectual, social, emotional, cognitive and physical development allowing children to thrive and learn to love learning.
We value and respect that children have a right to be active participants in their own learning and must be empowered to express their own views and ideas. A child’s opinion must be valued for its validity, initiative, perspective and autonomy.
We aim to work together with our children to:
– protect and cherish their innocence whilst providing a safe, secure and enriching learning environment.
– actively promote children’s learning through worthwhile, challenging experiences and interactions that foster problem-solving and thinking skills.
– achieve important developmental milestones and an initial stage of independence through self-help skills and a diverse school readiness program.
We acknowledge that our families are the most influential and significant people in the lives of our young children. We strive to develop positive, mutually respectful relationships between our team of educators and each family as well as place focus on community building to provide a sense of belonging, understanding of the world surrounding the children and social connectedness. Parents, families, and community involvement into all aspects of our program development and implementation are highly regarded and encouraged. We endeavour to form partnerships with families and the community to:
– achieve the best possible outcomes for all our children.
– ensure continuity and progression in our children’s lifelong learning, development and future success.
We recognise our team of Educators as our most precious resource in contributing their skills, experience, and dedication to the success of our service. The Educators are suitably qualified and trained to achieve teamwork. We believe that ‘together everyone achieves more”. Effective communication is an essential requirement for positive outcomes across all aspects, particularly in the smooth functioning and operation of the service.
Our team of educators will:
– value, be responsive to and build on all children’s strengths, abilities, interests, skills and knowledge to enhance their confidence, motivation and engagement in learning.
– create an environment of trust and respect, where we work towards achieving a shared goal.
– be proactive and responsible for their own professional development with ongoing education and training as well as critical reflection through accurate evaluation and assessment.
We understand that children inherit connection to the natural world and often develop their ideas and understanding of the world around them from the information presented to them by the significant adults in their lives. As we are one of these significant adults, we will create welcoming spaces to:
– present a positive approach to the environment.
– embrace diversity within the service and the wider community so that children view diversity with a sense of appreciation, acknowledgement, respect and acceptance.
– celebrate and share a variety of traditions and cultures throughout our program.
– encourage participation from families, reflect and enrich the lives and identities of children.
– invite children and families to contribute ideas, interests, and questions so as to cater for different capacities and learning styles in the setting.
Children are unique individuals who develop at their own pace or rate. By providing enriching, meaningful, and realistic opportunities, children as active participants and collaborators will be encouraged to explore, create, discover, and imagine.
We believe in adopting a holistic approach towards crafting an integrated and emergent curriculum which will be based on the Early Years Learning Framework to:
– inspire and maximise children’s individualistic learning across all developmental domains.
– reflect on planned and spontaneous experiences designed to support children’s interests, abilities and involvement in a meaningful way.
– engage in intentional teaching (i.e. deliberate, purposeful and thoughtful) as well as recognise that learning occurs in social contexts through interactions and conversations.
– actively promote children’s wonder, curiosity, creativity, innovation and inquiry through worthwhile and challenging play experiences, STEM and beyond the classroom activities to foster thinking and problem-solving skills.
Inspire & Innovate, along with our educators, children and families, will be committed to caring and protecting our environment for a sustainable future with the children. We believe in daily, sustainable practices and continuous improvement in all aspects of sustainability by creating natural environments with the children and involving them in experiences and activities where they can learn to appreciate and promote a sense of respect and knowledge around environmental concerns.
Children will be provided with the opportunity to learn about the world through sensory play and engage with natural and man-made resources to stimulate their senses and strengthen their neural pathways.
