Educator Requirements

Requirements of FDC Educators

1. Qualification

Completed Certificate III, Diploma, Bachelor and other equivalent qualification in children's services

2. Working with Children Check

Hold a current Working with Children Check.

3. National Police Check

Hold a current National Police Check.

4. Child Protection Training and Refresher

Gained thorough understanding on Child Protection by completing training and refresher courses on a yearly basis.

5. First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training and Refresher

Gained thorough understanding and hands-on experience on First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis by completing training and refresher courses every 3 years.

6. CPR Training and Refresher

Gained thorough understanding and hands-on experience on CPR by completing training and refresher courses on a yearly basis.

7. Over 18

You must be aged over 18. Beyond this there are no restrictions regarding your age.
