In our Nursery Space, we prioritise maintaining consistency in routines between your children’s home life and their time at the service. We listen attentively and communicate closely with families to ensure that your children’s routines are respected and followed consistently.

At this early sensory stage, children play and discover through interacting with their environment. Every element of our environment is carefully considered, intentionally incorporating all five senses—sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch.

Our goal is to provide an experience that feels like a “home away from home” for your children. Once they feel secure and comfortable, they are happy to learn and explore their surroundings.

Through regular, open communication, we ensure parents feel informed, reassured, and connected to their child’s daily experiences and progress. Together, we create a warm “home away from home,” where children are loved, supported, and inspired to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.

Every space is carefully arranged to support curiosity, independence, and a sense of security, allowing babies to feel comfortable as they explore and grow.Children are provided with a variety of open-ended learning materials that encourage purposeful play, concentration, and discovery. These resources invite little ones to explore at their own pace—experimenting with textures, shapes, and sounds—while also learning to engage alongside others in early social interactions.

Our Vacation Care program provides children with a fun, engaging, and safe environment during the school holidays. We combine learning with play, offering a variety of age-appropriate activities that keep children entertained, stimulated, and connected with friends.

Children can take part in a mix of structured and free-choice activities, including sports, games, STEM projects, art and craft, music, drama, and creative workshops. Each day is different, giving children opportunities to explore new interests and build confidence.

We also organise exciting excursions to local parks, libraries, museums, and entertainment venues, as well as incursions where special guests bring new learning experiences into the centre. Every excursion is supported by a comprehensive risk management plan, and families are notified in advance with consent required.

Nutritious meals and snacks are provided daily, helping children stay energised throughout their busy holiday adventures. Our educators create a welcoming environment where children can relax, learn, and make lasting memories during their time away from school.

What should my child bring each day?

We recommend bringing a labelled water bottle, hat, sunscreen, spare clothes, and any comfort items your child may need. For excursion days, families will receive a reminder of any additional items required.

Activities are tailored to suit a range of abilities and interests. Older children are encouraged to take on leadership roles, while younger ones are supported with age-appropriate activities and guidance.

Can I book for single days, or do I need to commit to the whole holiday program?

Families have the flexibility to book for single days, multiple days, or the entire holiday program, depending on their needs.

How do you communicate with families?

We keep families informed with daily updates through the OWNA childcare app, as well as face-to-face communication at drop-off and pick-up. Excursion reminders and activity highlights are also shared regularly.
